Rail Asset Development’s first project was assisting this local builder-developer with the rail interface on a development of six semi-detached units close to Sundridge Park station
Planning restrictions meant that a 2m high contiguous retaining wall had to be constructed close to the toe of the railway embankment
The duties undertaken included:
CEM and lead on the railway interface
Identification and preparation of all required Network Rail submissions, negotiating the approvals needed
Working with contractors unfamiliar with railway requirements to ensure that designs and RAMS were suitable for use adjacent to the operational railway
