The duties undertaken included:

  • Lead structural engineer who designed strengthening and alteration works, maximising retention of existing floor timbers while designing for modern floor loads
  • Designed remedial measures for other areas of the building with fire damage, rot or where new heavier finishes were to be applied
  • Team leadership included draughtsmen and site resident engineer
