Steve King of RAD acted as CEM for this project through the design and demolition and remediation phases, attending the design team meetings and making recommendations regarding the railway interface at an early stage. This meant that the designs could be adapted to vastly simplify the Network Rail interface during construction.

One contribution was a minor adjustment to the building, but which allowed for a scaffold to be built without infringing on the 3m safety zone around the railway OLE system. This significantly simplified the construction process and future maintenance and removal of the building.
