  • Rail Asset Development’s first project was assisting this local builder-developer with the rail interface on a development of six semi-detached units close to Sundridge Park station
  • Planning restrictions meant that a 2m high contiguous retaining wall had to be constructed close to the toe of the railway embankment
The duties undertaken included:
  • CEM and lead on the railway interface
  • Identification and preparation of all required Network Rail submissions, negotiating the approvals needed
  • Working with contractors unfamiliar with railway requirements to ensure that designs and RAMS were suitable for use adjacent to the operational railway
